NORMAS REGIONALES DE LOS SUBTEST RAZONAMIENTO VERBAL, CÁLCULO Y RAZONAMIENTO ABSTRACTO DEL TEST DE APTITUDES DIFERENCIALES (FORMA T)

Resumen

El Test de Aptitudes diferenciales es una técnica de evaluación psicológica diseñada para ofrecer un procedimiento capaz de medir aptitudes para fines de orientación educacional y vocacional. Ha sido planteado para su uso en alumnos del ciclo secundario y luego ha sido difundido en jóvenes y adultos, fuera del ámbito educativo en tareas de orientación y en selección de personal. De los subtest que forman parte de la batería del DAT T, el presente estudio realiza un recorte de trabajo con tres de ellos, Razonamiento Verbal, Cálculo y Razonamiento Abstracto. Las primeras formas del DAT fueron la A y B, estas han sido revisadas y reestandarizadas en 1962 y nuevamente en 1972. En Argentina se cuenta con una estandarización de la forma T. El objetivo de este estudio es realizar la adaptación de los subtest RV, C y RA a una población con características diferentes a las que ha sido adaptada, estudiantes universi-tarios de la provincia de Santiago del Estero, y forma parte del Proyecto de Investigación Habilidades Cognitivas y Rendimiento Académico en Estudiantes Universitarios, subsidiado por la Secretaría de Ciencia yTecnica de la Universidad Católica de Santiago del Estero. El estudio realizado representa un avance sobre la adaptación métrica subtest. Se eliminaron ítems que no lograban discriminar entre los rendimientos de los sujetos o por su nivel de dificultad, de esta manera se han eliminado tres ítems de Razonamiento verbal (22, 42 y 45) y dos de Razonamiento abstracto (10 y 40), mientras que cálculo ha conservado todos sus ítems.Por otro lado se aportan normas estadísticas para esta muestra según sexo. The Differential Aptitude Test is a psychological evaluation technique designed to provide a method capable of measuring skills for the purpose of educational and vocational guidance. It has been proposed for use in secondary school students and then has been broadcast in young and adults outside education in guidance tasks and recruitment.
